  1. In 1997, the Hubble telescope determined it to be about 70 kps per megaparsec.  That would mean the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light at a distance of about 15 billion light years.


  2. i read it is 71(Km/s)/Mps  and accelerating. also they think dark energy may be driving the acceleration (expansion of the universe) and defying gravity's pull.
