  1. Roughly the same as anywhere else, allot of veggies are imported regardless of where you are in the world.

    Example: bok choy, a green leaf veggie is usually imported (when good) from china.


  2. Its a temperate climate and so has

    -grass,

    -forests  of mainly trees which lose their leaves in winter, and

    -temperate  climate flowers and vegetables.

    However it is also based on cultures going back thousands of years so most of the vegetation has been husbanded and controlled into farms, parklands, meadows  and small gardens.  There is virtually no untouched country except in a few areas in the few mountainous areas in Engliand Scotland Ireland and Wales.  For example the New Forest, is new only because it wasn't created until the eleventh  century.

    So the vegetation is heavily influenced not only by the climate but by the culture as well.
