  1. There are alot. I'll put a couple in my source.

  2. Well everyone is different, so I don't know if it would be best for you, but this is a very active international group:

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Support4Ho...

There are people from Germany, Zimbabwe, the UK, scattered other countries, and many from the U.S.

  3. Visite this site

I hope u like my Answer

    Best Regards

  4. Are you looking for a Christian group, non-Christian, special needs, gifted?

A little more details may help narrow down that search as there are so many groups out there.

  5. There are many such groups on Yahoo, all you have to do is type home schooling in the search area.

Another very active web site to find discussion groups is http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/

The best discussions groups are your local home school support groups.

These groups are focused on what is happening in your local area, or state, and the issues discussed have a direct influence, or are at least directly related to what matters to you, your family, and the area you live in.

It is nice, and often times informative to talk about what is going on world wide, but that does little, or nothing to improve your home school here, since what applies in other nations may not apply here.

Good luck in finding what you are looking for.

    Addition:

For someone to be able to point you in the right direction, you may have to be a bit more specific as to what those special needs may be.

    Give these a try:

    HEM DISCUSSION LISTS

    HEM Networking

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HEM-Networ...

General discussion list on homeschooling issues.

    HEM New Homeschoolers

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HEM-NewHom...

Specifically for those new to homeschooling.

    HEM Unschooling

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HEM-Unscho...

Explore this relaxed approach to learning.

    Addition:

I would contact Home Education Magaize they may be able to help, or provide you with more information on how to expand your coverage, or try The Old School House magazine.

  6. If you could better define the "scope" of your interest, we'd be able to give you better answers.

Are you looking for legalities in other countries?

Are you looking for support groups in other countries?

Are you looking for debates about the merits of homeschooling as done (legally or illegally) in other countries?

If I understood clearly what you were looking for, I might be able to point you to a resource.

  7. It would be difficult to find such a group. Language issues alone would be enough to boggle the mind.

I agree with the others that the best homeschool discussion groups known are the local ones.

IMO the best discussion group I have EVER been involved in is the one that meets in my living room, or at my kitchen table, or at the local starbucks.

If you have a specific agenda going on, I guess you will have to continue your research until you find your target group and then pitch your idea to them.

You are trying to pitch an idea, aren't you?
