  1. The voltage drop across an electric motor depends on the on the type

    of motor and the load applied to it.

    You don't even specify what type of motor.

    For motors there is resistance and reactance which combine to

    give you a total impedance.


  2. Your question is, I think, poorly worded.

    I wonder if you mean specification rather than measurement?  If so .....

    An electric motor will be designed to work from a specified value of voltage.

    The current consumption of a motor is the current which it will draw from a supply at the specified voltage when the motor is fully loaded.

  3. An electric motor, 3-phase squirrel-caged type has different voltage ratings, 460 Volts, 5 Hp is rated 7.6 amperes at full load, but it can have a smaller current at light load.The actual load can be measured by a clamped type ammeter
