I have read in a book that neurons send a voltage through our body that sends commands to our different joints and body parts. Unfortunately, I was never able to finish the book, so can someone tell me what exactly is this voltage?

  1. the answer you are looking for is -65 millivolts.  But that is the resting voltage differential between the inside of the cells and and extracelullar fluid.  You can't really think of nerves as wires carrying current.  I am not sure what level of knowledge you wish to familiarize yourself with, but it has to do with action potentials and sodium channels.

  2. hhhmmm....

    m not really sure...

    i think its -90millivolts....
