  1. a box 10 cm per side would be 10 cubic centimeters... right??? so thats 10 x 10  x 10 = 1000cm3 or one litre. so......  visualise the little cubes..... each one a mililitre...... guess you can add up ml into littres ok... x*x

  2. 23 cm x 23 cm x 23 cm = 12,167 cm^3 (cubic centimeters)

Knowing that 1 cubic centimeter = 0.001 liters you multiply to get 12.167 liters.

  3. Volume of box = 23³ = 12167cm³

there are 1000cm³ in 1 litre, therefore volume = 12.167 litres.
