I need to know the volume of this block so that I can find its density, I just don't remember how to do this little step. Its mass is 6.32g if you need that info?

  1. Volume = Length * Width * Height

  2. Since Area=Volume. And Volume= Length x Breadth x Width

    So

    18 x 22 x 5 mm = 1980 mm.

  3. to find the volume, you multiply width times length times height. so the answer would be 1980 mm cubed.

  4. 22mm*18mm*5mm = 1980mm^3

    1980mm^3 /((10mm)/cm)^3

    =1.98cm^3

  5. Assuming the block is completely solid, you just multiply all the dimmensions.

    22mm x 18mm x 5mm = 1,980 mm3

    If you need cubic meters, remember that 1mm3= 1.0 × 10^-9 m3

    To get your density, it's mass/volume = 6.32g/1980mm3 = 3.19 x10-3 g/mm3
