  1. When my Mother was cremated in 1984, the funeral home gave me the ashes in a container that was about the size of a 2lb. coffee can.  The container was a little wider than the hole you can dig with a post hole digger, as the cemetery people had dug a hole with a post hole digger and we had to widen it out to bury her ashes.


  2. it depends on your bone mass. the more solid mass (not skin water or fat) that a person has will vary the weight and amount of remains and therefore change the size of the relequariy

  3. I got to see what ashes come back to the funeral home in, that was interesting..........Contact a funeral home and see what they tell you..............
