What is the wave that continuously moves up my flat screen?

This TV is relatively new and I just noticed that there is a wave that continuously moves up the screen is the tv? It is multiple channels.

  1. Mitch - It sounds like you have a "ground loop".  That is usually caused by your cable box having a different ground that your TV.

    If you search "TV ground loop isolator", you will find some on the web that may help your problem.

    The way to troubleshoot this problem is to disconnect your cable.  If the problem goes away, you need to put a isolator between the cable box and the TV.


  2. It is the refresh, but you should never see it.  Take the TV back, it is defective.
