my boy friend boozes a lot and he want to quit but he got addicted to it , so by what he can stop boozing

Unusual approach but it works - FOCUS ON THE MONEY YOU ARE SAVING BY PUTTING HOW MUCH YOU WOULD'VE SPENT ON BOOZE INTO A JAR OR PIGGY BANK... then treat yourself to something (not booze) once it's built up.

Find a couple new hobbies and stay away from people who drink daily. Worked for me
