it will still be hot during the day - maybe a bit colder at night.

the heat usually stays in the city so you will probably sweat a lot

It gets very warm here in the summer and can be compared to San Diego, CA.  Right now it is only mid-march and the weather has been in the mid-seventies.  However, it can and will rain for several days straight on occasion so please plan on some indoor activities such as museums.  Have fun!

You should be ok by the end of September it will still be hot and there can be the occasional thunder storm. Avoid August at all costs it is awful. Lots of Romans go to the coast in August, very wise.
