  1. In deserts, hot and dry air produces cloudless skies and little rain.Moisture evaporates quickly.

Large temperature fluctuations occur between night and day and summer and winter.

Average annual rainfall is less than 30 cm.

Day time temperatures average around 38 degree celcius. In short, deserts contain large dry regions with sparse vegetation.

  2. it could be as cold as the arctic or as hot as sahara..

  3. Very hot during the day and cold at night. The temp. extremes can vary as much as 80 deg F or more !

  4. Generally during the day it will be very dry and very hot and some places in Arizona can reach over 120 degrees fahrenheit.   At nights the air cools rapidly because of the lack of moisture and can reach the freezing mark.

  5. In the desert, temperatures are very extreme.  at night, it is very cold, and may even go under negative degrees.  During the day, temperatures may even pass 100 degrees farenheight.

  6. Actually the weather seems to vary a bit. The summer is incredibly hot, up to 115 degrees farenheight during the day and 80 at night. Winter can be cold, day highs are generally around 50 to 60 and lows are in the 30s. It hardly ever freezes, maybe once or less a year. Snow is rare too although I've seen it. There tends to be a monsoon season where it rains heavily almost everyday for about a month. Most of the days in the year are sunny, around 300. There isn't a lot of humidity hence the term "a dry heat".

  7. yeah she is right.. we also get some really random storms during the summer though.. I don't know if that helps

  8. cold at night and hot and dry in the day

  9. Very hot in the day and cold in the night.
