What is the weather like after a hurricane in florida, ?

i am going to disney world flying from cleveland ohio on august 24th 2008 and now there is a hurricane coming, am i going to miss the rain and stuff , or is it going to just rain the whole week i am there????

Sorry not good........lots of rain........If that's the case.....most of Disney and the other attractions will be limited..........sorry......I would postpone the trip if you have insurance.........Fay will come right up the center of the state hit orlando Mon/Tuesday..........that's what AccuWeather hurricane middle shows today........

Can't make guarantees, but that should be time enough for it to leave the area and take the rain with it.  Have a nice trip :)

Well it looks like hurricane Fay will be moving north until thursday-friday. Usually after a hurricane it just rains A LOT, and they issue a lot of tornado watches. I would probably keep an eye on the weather channel :)

You will be just fine. Tropical storm Fay travels at 12 miles/hour which means it covers about 250 miles in a day, and five days from now it will be over 1000 miles away, probably in the Carolinas. The rain in Orlando will end by thursday the latest and then you will have a typical summer weather, with an occasional thunderstorm possible every day.

I will proabaly rain the whole week. But remember, you can still have fun. Dont let it ruin your vacation.
