What is the weather like in Alaksa in August?

For the most part of your trip you will have average day time temps in the 70's and 50's at night. Glacier Bay alittle cooler due to all the ice and water. You can check the weather via the computer but, I have been 23 times and they have yet to come close. Best bet bring a lite jacket with you. This is an AMAZING cruise where you will see Beautiful scenery and wildlife and meet people from around the world.
