What is the weather like in Barcelona during Christmas/New years?

Does it usually rain alot? Is it cold? Does it ever snow?

It is quite cold but hardly ever snows in the city. About the rain, you never know.

I visit Barcelona in Christmas 2005. The weather was mild between 50's and 60's with cloudy days but no major rain. January and February are in general the more colder months.

Snow is rare in Barcelona but very common in other high areas in Catalunya.
