What is the weather like in Bristol during October?

Question

I will flight to Bristol within 2 mid Oct this year. and I'm from Kuala Lumpur, and I would like to know what will be forecast weather in Bristol? Is it chilly, winter or summer? if its chilly or winter what would be a Celsius then?

and one more questions, how much the Hotel rate for a night in Bristol? what will be the cheapest rate out there and hotel name

Hi..... You need to say which bristol you mean as there are several, I know of one in America and one in the Uk, where I am from just off the top of my head. If you mean the uk one, it will be autumn and chilly all the time, we are also having a lot of rain this year, so come prepared, light layers are best and a waterproof coat. The best place to look for hotel prices is www.tripadvisor.com as you will get genuine visitors ratings as well as current prices. Usually if you look for a hotel in the top 25% of the reviews you will be ok. It will cover all the worlds bristols and will give weather advice as well. Hope you have a nice trip x

It's just a little cooler than Nashville.  I'd say high of about 75 and low in high 40's.  Slightly cooler later in month leaves turning fall begins.

You could probably stay at a Hampton or Holiday Inn for less than $75 if they are not having a big race weekend.

It will probably be quite cold. Bring some woolly jumpers, and bring waterproofs as it has been raining in the UK for weeks and no sign of it stopping!

If you book ahead, you can get a double room for about £60 a night in Jury's Inn in central Bristol, or try the Travelodge, 10 minutes walk from the centre, which has rooms cheaper than that.

if your from kuala lumpur it will be cold for you - october is Autumn sometimes its warm there but mostly cool at that time of year - have fun make sure you visit wales its on the border of bristol - just hire a car
