I'm going to Italy in mid-March. What is the weather like around then? We plan on doing some major shopping. So, what are some good place to shop? Any bargain places? Shoe shops? Leather goods? Any links to good sites for all of this stuff? Thanks!

  1. Mainly rainy and damp. Staying indoors is a good idea. Some coastal storms can get pretty bad. Shopping is a good hobby idea for those months.

As for shopping spots lets see. Depending on where you traveling to I'd suggest going to I'd suggest Ferragamo, Armani, or Prada. Look for the Solde sign.

Good Luck and who knows I might see you up there. I'm in Sicily, Italy right now, in fact, at my parent's house. : )

    -edit-

Maybe it's not as rainy in the Northern parts of the country. I've never been up Northern Italy during March.

  2. Well here in Italy we say that "Marzo è pazzerello" -------> "March is a little bit crazy"

Because sometimes rain and sometimes there are sunny days!

    Excuse me for eventual mistakes.

  3. Well Italy in March was beautiful when I was there at least. It was sunny and gorgeous. A little bit rainy but it was nice, it wasnt pouring. For leather goods try looking at shops of the beaten path, they're your best bet.

    Have Fun, Italy is amazing.
