What is the weather like in Italy in late March?

I am Italian. The weather was windy,temperately and often sunny.  the temperature is about 18-20° C in the North, 20-25° C in the south. But this year is very hot and warm as a result the temperature are very high! in the north about 25-30°C while in the South other the 30°C!!!!

well its like summer here in the north, we hardly had alot of snow at all, and spring started early and the only hint of snow is in the highest mountains. I can wear tee shirts and jeans or shorts...im a happy girl. I hear that usually its a little more like spring in america, but this year its warmer.

It depends region by region. I live in Sardinia and this year I went to take some baths to the sea (actually this is a "strange" year.....).

If you're planning to visit the northern part or the mountains, it's better for you if you'll bring some pullover and a coat. But if you're coming from G.B. surely it isn't that cold for you :o)
