What is the weather like in Kerela in last week May? Is it worth a holiday?

I have always wanted to visit Kerela and I have an opportunity to travel there in last week of may 2008. I am only worried about the weather coz I don't want to be stuck in a hotel while it is pouring cats and dogs outside, or worse still not be able to make any sightseeing trips in case the roads are flooded! Please let me know if I am in for disaster.

Generally it will be hot in May.  However, occasional rains can be expected.

dont listen to the guy above rainy season starts in july in kerala. May will be a really one of the best times to visit so enjoy, you will love it
