I know it's the rainy season but will it be raining ALL day every day or will there be some sunshine and beach weather? Thinking of going in early September? Is it a really bad time to go there?

  1. September and October are the rainiest times there, in general this is not a good time to go to the Pacific side of Costa Rica but early September might be tolerable.   There will be some sunshine but it is still going to be pretty rainy.

  2. You can expect a lot of rain, especially toward the end of September in Manuel Antonio.  This is the rainy season, and September into October is the rainiest time of the year.  If you go earlier in the month, then you might get some sun.

Anyway, you will usually get lots of sun in the morning.  The mornings will be warm and sunny, but you can expect overcast skies too.  You will have plenty of time to enjoy the sun and the beach if you are an early riser.  You can also go on all of the nature tours....Oh!  Make sure that you have a raincoat.

Enjoy your stay in Costa Rica.  If you need further information about Costa Rica, you can go to the TicosLand website.

  3. The average annual temperatures range from 31.7°C (89°F) on the coast to 16.7°C (62°F) inland. The rainy, or ‘green season' lasts from approximately May to November with noticeably drier days during the rest of the year.
