What is the weather like in Ochios Rios (jamacia) during the beginning of May, as we are going in 2 weeks?

One of the greatest advantages to visiting the Caribbean is the fairly consistent weather patterns. They generally don't fluctuate more than a couple of degrees throughout the year. So, to go in May wouldn't be much different than November or February. It will be sunny, in the 80's with island breezes. For obvious reasons, avoid the hurricane season but May is a great time to go. Use lots of sunscreen.

Yeah, Ochio Rios had some REALL HEAVY RAINS last week which cause sever damage to some roads.  These are being addressed as we speak so it shouldnt bother u too much.

Outside of the hurricane season, weather is usually fairly predictable, with only a risk of afternoon showers HOWEVER....

During last week, Ocho Rios experienced some unsually heavy rains. Several roads were damaged.  I am actually quite shocked to see the extent of the damage in some parts of Ochi.

Check with your travel agent to see if the damage would affect your stay, and if not, (statistically speaking) i strongly doubt there would be a repeat of that kind of weather so soon.
