What is the weather like in Rome mid-late june and what clothes are suitable to wear.

for the day short and tee will do, cause it gets very humid.

at night it gets a bit breezy so bring a light jacket

I was in Rome in late June 2008 - I got back to the UK 2 weeks ago.

It was so hot it was uncomfortable, and I'm from Sydney. It was something like 38C in the shade, out in the ruins of the Forum and Palatine, it was somewhere around mid to high 40's. It was actually unbearable. When I go to Rome next time, it will be in September, when its a comfortable temperature.

Night time temp was still very hot and the hotel room didn't have air con, so I didn't sleep much either. Rome is a fantastic city, one of my favourites. But summer is way too hot.

It can get very hot! The last few summers have been quite hot in central Italy. The temps have reached in the high 30s C (in the nineties Fahrenheit).

Bring nice comfortable, preferably cotton clothing.

Don't forget to visit the beautiful beaches west and south of Rome.

The weather is perfect there. i've been to rome many times and every time was awesome. i would try some shorts cuz it can get hot there sometimes and a gatorade is like 3.50 E.
