What is the weather like in Sosua, Dominican Republic at the moment?

I'm going on holiday to Sosua in a few weeks and I've been looking at the weather forecast over the past month and everyday seems to say rainy and cloudy. Has anyone been over there recently? If so what was the weather like? Also what is it normally like in May, we're going on May 9th till 17th. Thanks!

I live in Puerto plata ( near Sosua) and sometimes there is a shower (10-15 min) and then sun again, so nothing to spoil your vacations! Enjoy your stay!

it does rain but it usually stops quick. but its hot and sunny the rest of the day. u cant forget the sunscreen for reall and ur hat or sunglasses!! lol=]
