Brisbane is beautiful and hot in the day - T-shirt and shorts weather.  Getting cooler at night - Light long sleeved shirt weather.

currently i'm in brisbane (which is also very close to gold coast) and i have been living here for 22 years. I also spend a lot of my holidays on the coast.

It is about 25 degrees C durring the day (jeans and T-shirt weather) and about 13 degrees C over night (blanket weather but no need for heaters).

We are past the stormy season, but there are still occasional bits of rain, rare though.

Queensland is the skin cancer capital of the world. Very sunny, even when not so hot. WEAR HATS!

If possible plan your days to avoid being outdoors without access to shade between 10am and 2pm. But don't swim at dusk, cos the life savers can't see you as well and there is a slightly greater risk of sharks. Plan to have a couple of short swims in the afternoon and morning and a nice picknick in the shade durring the hot part of the day. Spending all day in the sun is a great way to get holiday-ruin-ing sunburn - that is NOT fun!

Not sure how you'd be able to go to the Gold Coast, Cairns & Brisbane in a week,
