Helpful hints

Dress in layers on the days you travel, so you can add or substract for the temperature changes.

It is not necessary to bring mosquito spray, as it is available in most stores and "farmacias" at reasonable prices, and usually not necessary in most areas of Vallarta



i went in June and staid out in the sun for three day s and never got a sun burn but got back to texas and burned in  1 hour.....It is great there !!!!!!!

It will be hot and probably humid.  Make sure your hotel has good airconditioning.  I was there in July and the A/C was lousy and I cooked.

It will be hot during the day and a little cooler in the evenings. June is part of their rainy season, but that doesn't mean it'll be raining all day or every day. It might rain 2 or 3 days that you are there, and for just a few minutes. Have fun! The link below is to the weather in PV.

10 day forecast for PV (in spanish) very hot and humid.  Expect some late day showers (Tormentas). 30 C is 86 farenheit.

I live just south of Vallarta and it has warmed up in the last few weeks.   It has not yet rained (at all) and I've not used my airconditioning at night to sleep.  It will feel humid when you get off the plane
