  3. In December its cold and rainy. If you must go then, plan on seeing lots of museums.

    Unfortunately, the cloudy skies and rainy weather makes the city look a bit grim as well. Rome needs bright sunshine to bring out the colours and make it all glow. You may come away from it thinking its all grey, brown and dark.  :(

  4. I was in Italy in December a couple years ago, it was cool and rainy. I'm from Canada mind so what is cool to me might be considered cold by others. Temp was about 10C.

  7. I am from Trentino Alto Adige,north Italy, from the Dolomiti mountains, in december is very cold and it snow often.

    besides that more south you go more the temperature goes up.
