  1. I think Tunisianbelle has just got used to the temperatures now she has been living in Tunisia for so long! I am British and always go to Sousse in October - I still find it hot (like the hottest days of summer at home).

  2. Well I was there in November and it was warm enough to lie in the sun and walk around with shorts and a vest top on.  However, the outdoor pool at the hotel was FREEZING, so pick a hotel with a heated indoor pool if you like to swim.

  3. October is a nice time to come because the weather is nice and warm and there is plenty that you can do. And there will still be PLENTY of sunshine! :-)

The weather in October is still warm by day (no longer hot, but a very nice temperature), but starts to cool off by night. Most people wear shorts and short sleeve/sleeveless shirts during the day, but change into pants/jeans by night. The end of October is when the rains also start to come. We don't get a lot, but it does cool things off a bit.

Typically most people do not swim in the Sea later than the beginning - middle of October. This is because even though weather is warm during the day, the Sea temperatures have dramatically lowered and have become too cold to swim in.

You could check this site as it gets closer to your arrival day for up to date info:

    http://www.accuweather.com/world-index-f...

You can click to see temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Weather Underground will search historical database for weather conditions in past years. The results will help you plan accordingly telling you how hot, cold, wet or windy it will be. http://www.wunderground.com/tripplanner/...

Another fun site to view is: http://www.weather2travel.com/climate-gu...

It gives the averages on different things from outside temperature to Sea temperature to hours of sunlight and more for different parts of Tunisia. Temperatures are listed in Celsius, but to view them in Fahrenheit, just hover your mouse over the temperature you would like to see.

If I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.
