K well i am a native Dominican on vacation in the U.S.A. ( i love it here by the way, it is so peacefull in Minneasota) any ways it is a little cloudy almost every day at around 5:30 then it just goes straight into darkness at like 9:00    it is currently considered huricane season but we only got hit by a hurricane like 3 times in the last five years so i would not be worried about getting hit by a hurricane (if you are planning on traveling there soon)   But ya if you have any other questions about Republica Dominicana  just contact me at [e-mail].
