  1. It depends where in the UK you go, as the north is generally colder than in the south, and in north it snows occassionally during winter, whereas the south it snows once, twice a year.

    1) it starts getting cold from late october until early february

    2) mar, april, may and june are relativley warm, for example, may this year has been very hot and june is quite hot too (23 degrees celcius +)

    3) it is true that our weather varys from day to day, but it would never turn from 28 degrees one day to 10 degrees the next.

4)nights are colder, but 10 degrees  is the more likely for june & july.

    5) it does rain a fair bit, but its never normally all day

    6) it varys very much, like last year our entire summer (june, july, august) was heavy rain all though out, but this year has been very hot.

    7) slightly, not much difference in temperature

    8) its not windy right now, but it depends where you are, the sea fronts are almost always windy, whereas cities like london rarely are

    9) to be honest, it don't know anyone who get depressed because of the climate, its normally to do with the economics of the country (everythings so expensive!)

    10) like i said its an expensive country to live it, and it does effect a lot of british people, generally we're a happy lot

    11) june, july, august (summer starts late may and ends mid september)

    hope this helps

  2. Honestly, the favourite words from our weather forecasters on the TV are "mixed" and "changeable".

This week where I live (South West London) the high temperature is 22 Celsius, low is 10 Celsius, and June is considered summer.

The record highest ever temp in UK is 38.5 Celsius in 2003 in Kent (south east England) and in winter can drop to -15 or so.  London tends to be a degree or so higher than other parts of the country.

I don't think the weather puts us in bad moods.  Thunderstorms are quite exciting, heavy rain is impressive and then when the sun comes out it can be a great day.  Hail, sleet, snow, rainbows, cloud-less blue skies - we get the lot.

I think you might get used to the colder weather - don't let it out you off though!  Wear layers!

  3. (1) which months are winter time?

It starts to get cold in october, around 14-18C is the average that time of year. The real cold months are december, january, february and perhaps march, but not always. these cold months average at around -3 - 8C. In April, May it gets warmer to around 10-18C. June slightly warmer. July, August, September are our warmest months of the year. An average warm summer day would be 20-28C. Sometimes it gets colder, sometimes we have the odd heat wave so it can reach 30-35C.

    (3) even in June and July, one day in cold, the next day is hot?Right? Yes it is like that (very annoying). But sometimes we have one week cold, the next week warm too. But during the summer months, when you say 'cold' it means about 14-18C. It doesn't usually get colder than 12C in the day in the summer.

    (4) even in June and July, within the same day, morning and night time maybe 4-7 degree and afternoon maybe 20 and more degree celcius? Right?

The mornings don't get that cold, they could be 8-12C and then 18-28 in the midday.

    (5) it is raining all year around?

It can rain in any seaon. Our rainiest months are March and April I would say. But, it can rain in any month.

    (6) Heavy rain or drizzle rain (light rain)? which months are heavy, which are light?

It can happen in any month, it's always hard to tell.

    (7) Will the rain makes the temperature even cooler?

Well, if it was raining during/before/after a thunderstorm, because of the humidity it would be warm. But generally yes the rain makes it colder, and the air cooler/moist.

    (8) UK is windy all year round?

Yes unfortunately. It's always windy on the coast, if you're situated in a valley it's not that windy at all. We are an island, so we are unprotected from the winds from the seas.

    (9) climate makes British feel depressed and bad mood?

Not all the time. If it rains it doesn't make the person in a bad mood much, it may just make them seem a bit gloomy, but it wouldn't affect how they act much.

    (10) refer to number 9, so British seldom smile, are serious and stern? (don't mean to offend)

Aha :P The weather has nothing to do with how the British act, it depends on the area you are in and the type of person you see. As with any country, each person is different. We may complain about the weather a lot, it's something we can't help doing, but we're still nice people.

    (11)which months are summer time?

    July, August, September.

    (12) I like to wear vest, t-shirts, mini skirts. Which months can I do that? (remember I wear long sleeve even at 19 degree celcius)

July, Augest, September. But not everyday, since the weather can be unpredictable.

    (13) how to wear in the winter time?

Jeans are a must. You can wear a t-shirt, or a long sleeved top, with a jacket for inside. When you go outside, wear a coat on top of that, with gloves, a scarf and thick socks. If it's an especially cold day, simply wear more layers. On cold days, no one stays outside for long anyway so it doesn't really matter. Every building is heated, and should be at about 17-20C on average - which is what we call room temperature.

    (14) I am scared of cold, should i go?

Well, everyone in the UK is used to it. It's not especially that cold, only in the winter months, and even then we heat every building so it is durable and shouldn't affect you much.

    (15) I went to Paris this early January this year, I can tolerate the cold. What is the climate feelig difference between Paris and England?

It's practically the same. Maybe England is about 1-2C lower. That's it.

    (16) is England's cold is wet cold? If yes, one will feel more cold then dried cold.

In the winter, the cold is bitter, dry. In the summer, if it is cold then it would be because of the rain so yes it would seem 'wet' and moist is in the air.

  4. (1) which months are winter time? Generally October, November, December, January, February and sometimes March.

    (2) are they in Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, April, May, June? Right? See above.

    (3) even in June and July, one day in cold, the next day is hot?Right? Weather can be quite changeable, even from 1 hour to the next. However, you're not going to get snow / hail in the summer.

    (4) even in June and July, within the same day, morning and night time maybe 4-7 degree and afternoon maybe 20 and more degree celcius? Right? Probably more 10C to 25 (occasionally 30C+)

    (5) it is raining all year around? It can rain all year round, yes.

    (6) Heavy rain or drizzle rain (light rain)? which months are heavy, which are light? The winter months generally have heavier rain, but that said you can always get a good thunderstorm in summer.

    (7) Will the rain makes the temperature even cooler? Yes

    (8) UK is windy all year round? Not really, but it depends on the weather.

    (9) climate makes British feel depressed and bad mood? No!

    (10) refer to number 9, so British seldom smile, are serious and stern? (don't mean to offend) Really no.

(11)which months are summer time? Generally May, June, July and August.

    (12) I like to wear vest, t-shirts, mini skirts. Which months can I do that? (remember I wear long sleeve even at 19 degree celcius) There's no rules, but probably July / August sort of time, although the locals will wear those sorts of clothes whenever the temperature gets above about 16C.

    (13) how to wear in the winter time? Jeans, t-shirt, jumper, coat, and take an umbrella with you.

    (14) I am scared of cold, should i go? There's nothing to be scared of, it's very rare that we even get snow.

    (15) I went to Paris this early January this year, I can tolerate the cold. What is the climate feelig difference between Paris and England? Paris is probably slightly warmer due to the fact that they are further south.

    (16) is England's cold is wet cold? If yes, one will feel more cold then dried cold. Not sure I understand this question.
