Ok..so you've got the huirricane to the south of Cancun...making for some rain lately.  After that passes you should be go to go!  There is a interesting weather system off the east coast of Florida, that ( in my opinion) could develop.  Might be worth keeping an eye, but should not be a problem at all.  Also, keep in mind the because the water in the Gulf is so warm there right now, a tropical system can quickly pop up in the actual gulf with only a couple days warning.   Expect warm and muggy.

Well 3-G's,

I live in Cancun and I think now is a great time to visit Cancun. Because the news networks seem to make Cancun a virtual death trap a lot of folks have canceled their vacations...which makes prices the lowest in a long time.

Why not take advantage of the "bad news"...

Today is very beautiful with some beautiful fluffy clouds, bright blue sky and a wonderful cooling breeze...perhaps a picture of paradise?

Mother nature has the final word on the weather and unless you have a direct connection...well anything can happen. This goes for where you live as well.

I vote for you to to "come on down"...

Listen to Alicia in Cancun she lives there. Half these people are basing there opinion on weather reports from the Cancun airport that are simply posted on weather websites.

From my experience that weather station at the airport will more often than not will report showers, chance of showers, chance of thunder showers and the weather turns out to be perfectly fine. (It's a tropical climate so when isn't there a chance of showers?)

When it does rain, it's typically intense and short. Then right back to sunny.

Yes, it's tropical so it's hot and can be humid but you're on the beach in a hammock drinking margaritas with a breeze off the ocean you're not digging ditches. If you get the chance, I say go.

who cares? i can't be there to enjoy it so I do not care what the weather is. Sorry but that's life.
