What is the week range that you will first hear a hear beat?

I'm just wondering when is the earliest that you could detect a heart beat through ultrasound and when is the latest that it could show up? Is it 5-8 weeks or 6-7 weeks? Please share your experience.

6 to 7. I went in and saw it at 7 weeks :)

i was 5 weeks and 5 days when i saw my babys heart beat.

I heard and saw it on ultrasound at 9 weeks. Generally it can be seen between 5.5 and 7 weeks. I heard it on doppler at a little less than 10 weeks.

I had an trans-vaginal u/s at 8 weeks and we saw and heard the heart beat.
