What is the weight and hieght of an Angus cow.?

I have searche deverywhere and i am not capleble of finding these answers, this is for a friend of mine and he is trying to bring up his grade in our ag class and of course he is a freshman thanks also its for the FFA

  1. There is a chart in this reference for weight of breeds including Angus at different ages (Table 3) and hip heights at different ages (Table 6).

    This should settle that issue authoritatively.


  2. depends if it is a bull, steer, yearling or heifer.  for a heifer which is what i think you are meaning the average weight is anywhere from 2200 to 2600 pounds.  the height at the tallest base of their back is around 5 feet.
