  1. It depends on the Airline. Most of them charge extra if your checked bag is over 50 pounds. I've seen some airlines restrict your carry-on to 15 pounds. If you go the website of the specific airline you plan on taking they all give details as to their baggage limitations.

  2. I just had to pay $100.00 because my suitcase weighed 52.5 lbs and the limit is 50lbs. this was united airlines.

  3. You should check your airlines website because the weight differs from airline to airline. It should have the weight limit and dementions for luggage. Hope this helped! (=

  4. 50 lbs for checked. For carry on I dont think it matters I had a carry on bag that weighed 70lbs ( no joke) it was small enough  so I didnt have any problems. It was also a 1 hour ride. If you are going internationally then I think they have a weight limit on carry on which is 40lbs...

  5. I don't know if it varies from country to country, but here in Australia it's 20 kg for check-in baggage and 5 kg for carry-on luggage.

I believe it's the equivalent in lbs in the USA, according to my American hubby.

I believe that there is a higher allowance if you're flying first-class. Not that anyone can afford that these days!!

  6. depends on airline. but now alot of them are allowing one bag at 50 lbs and the next bag up to 50 lbs is $25 or more
