What is the weight limit on carry on bags?

I am leaving for montenegro on thursday july 10th and i was wondering what the limit was.

Depends on the airline company and were you are going, most ordinary long haul flights allow you 5kilo's but international flights generally allow you 7kilo's, you should find the weight your allowed to carry on on your ticket or to keep yourself from getting stressed ring the travel agent you booked your ticket with and they will tell you, have a good trip.

why dont u just call the airport. its fast, just dial 1800 airport (thats not the acual number idk what is) and ask, you will get ur answer thats the right answer so u dont have to guess, because ur getting different pounds, 50, and 20. that is a big diff.

50 pounds is the weight limit .i would know i almost passed it!

Last time I flew it was 20 pounds but that was before they started charging for each bag so it may have changed since then.

Airline and airport baggage restrictions and limitations are quite an issue these days, for both security-related and economic (fuel price) reasons.

Every airline has its own regulations for what you can carry free, carry-on, checked in, in transparent plastic bags etc.

You should check with the airline or the travel agency where you bought your ticket well before you go to the airport.

5 lbs for hand luggage, and 20 lbs for checking in.

Make sure it is no more than 5 lbs, or you will have to check it in, or move around luggage which is very awkward in an airport.

It's two bags weighing 26kgs. If you are flying on a budget airline, it is usually 15kgs (a few 20kgs). go to the website of the airline you are using to find out.

there isnt one that i know of, its usually a size restriction. some airlines in the uk have a frame which the hand luggage must fit into to show it can be carried on. average sized rucksack/shoulder bag is usually about the size they allow, never been asked to weigh it. i wouldnt know about america so it depends on where you are flying from.

Each airline has it's own limits for weight and size for checked luggage and carry-ons.  Also it varies for domestic and international flights.  There have been a lot of changes recently by many of the airlines trying to cut costs and lighten load weights.  Go to the web site for the airline you are using and they have a listing of the allowable size/weight requirements.

There is no weight restrictions but dimensions should not exceed 45 inch (length+breadth+height) as per the sizes of overhead cabins in the aircraft

Weight limit for CHECKED bags is 50 lbs.   Over 50 lbs and you'll pay a fee
