i will be studying abroad in Paris and well after the semester ends i am planning on spending Christmas with my family that live in Mallorca and from there i will be coming back to the states so i have to pack from here as if i were traveling from Paris to Mallorca and well the question is :

how many bags can i have and what is the weight and size?

Go to the websites of the airlines you will be traveling with and you should find all the information you need there.  Most of the time you can take two bags as checked  luggage, up to 20 kg each, and two pieces as carry on, but you need to make sure that is what each airline allows.
