  2. There was a guy in the Atlanta Braves farm system back in the mid 1990's named

-Wonderful Terrific.......his last name was Monds.

I always thought that was kinda crazy.

  6. Definately Coco. I don't know why he changed his name to that!

  7. Coco Crisp. My all time favorite is Charlie Spikes who played with the Indians back in the 70's.

  8. Ambiorix

  9. My favorite full name is "Orville Overall," an early 20th century Cubs

    pitcher (and a good one).

  10. khalil as in khalil greene shortsop for san diego

  12. Dwayner or Annibol (sanchez)

i dont know if i spelled either correctly, but both names are 'unique'

    oh year Erasmo (ramirez)

i dont know if he is still in the majors, but he was a reliver for the rangers

  13. If you go way back in baseball history, you find some interesting names such as Honus Wagner. You ever meet anyone named Honus?

  14. Yadier

  15. How bout toss in Lastings Milledge in there.  Ha, his name is Lastings. wow.

  16. Coco is a nickname, so was Dizzy.

Personally, I think Yuniesky is the weirdest first name in baseball right now, with honorable mentions to Nomar, Edinson and Dwayner. And one from the 80s: Larvell

All-time favourite baseball name: Rusty k***z.

  17. Coco for sure..

  18. Good ones.  Add Maglio and Jacoby to the list

  19. I like Coco Crisp and Milton Bradley. Ones named after a cereal and the other after a board game company.

  20. Derryl Strawberry. I've always thought it'd be funny to get his jersey, to see that "STRAWBERRY" in blue and orange on that Mets Jersey.

  21. Coco's real first name is Covelli.  His grandmother used to call him Coco and the nickname stuck.  There are a lot of unique names out there but, Joba is the first person with that name I have ever heard of.

  22. Dizzy. there was a pitcher who was named Dizzy Trout. greatest name in all of baseball history.

  23. Catfish Hunter

  24. He will probably get the call from the minors for another cup of coffee with the Royals in MLB after September 1st. He has previous MLB experience: Gookie Dawkins.

There was another guy in the St. Louis system for years. He spent time with the MLB Cards and is now a hitting coach in the Astros' system at low Class A Lexington. He just competed on the roster of Team Canada in the Olympics.  With his first and last name he had to become a ball player or a used car dealer: Stubby Clapp.

  25. boof

    denard

  26. Asdrubel Cabrera, the second baseman for the Indians.  Possibly  Boof Bonser, Twins pitcher.
