My shower exploded for no apparent reason.  One night my hubby and I were laying in bed watching TV at about 11 o'clock.  No one was in the bathroom and we started to hear a tink, tink, tink sound.  At first I thought someone was breaking into the house so I sent hubby downstairs with one dog to investigate while I went around the corner with the other to use the bathroom.  As I rounded the corner, I saw the most beautiful rainbow of flying glass shooting across the master bathroom hitting the mirror above the vanity and showering the room.  I grabbed up the dog and stood there transfixed, literally unable to speak.  Our shower is 2 walls of thick glass and it was as if someone was inside the enclosure pounding away with a sledge hammer.  When we called companies to come out to replace the glass, no one could figure out what caused it to happen.
