What is the weirdest thing you've seen on a wedding registry?

not that weird, but more "selfish".

The only items on the registry were items for the bride to be (hair dryer, curling iron and other beauty items)... and as being her friend, i knew she already had all that stuff... I guess she just wanted new ones :-S

Well, I put an Almond Snickers on my registry, and got tons of them. The reason I put it on there is because I had a dream about making the registry and in my dream I put it on there, and hid in the aisles watching people's funny reactions to such an odd thing on the registry. I actually woke up from the dream because I was laughing so hard in real life it woke me up. I figured anything that made me laugh out loud in my sleep was worth pursuing!

Well, it's not *that* weird, but I guess the weirdest thing I've seen on a wedding registry is a toilet plunger.

bubbling massaging foot spa.  I got it because it was the most random thing, but I regretted wrapping and carrying that huge box into the reception.

A tom-tom (GPS) because the bride was always getting lost. It was an expensive item, but several of her co-worker friends (me included) went to together and bought it for them.

I put a pack of Juicy Fruit gum on mine for the same reason as the girl above...it made me laugh. I wish I could hear the reactions.

Cat treats. My sister in law didn' t even have a cat but they did it to see what people would do. She said they got scanner happy. (We did too it was fun to scan items.)

We did the same and added a catnip toy. We have a cat . An aunt who is an animal lover bought it. My cat "opened" his gift at my shower. He knew which bag it was in. I pulled out the items that were mine and let the cat have the rest. LOL

My best friend registered for a goldfish just to see if someone would actually buy it for her (no one did... but could you imagine?! lol)

The couple put it on their reg and mom(who was the MOH) talked a lot of the people into getting them one, so they ended up getting so many they could probably fill the bath tub with them lol.

A PS2 and games was probably the weirdest - but if you knew the couple, it made perfect sense. The groomsmen actually got together and bought it because they all wanted to come over and play with it lol...

A chainsaw!  If you had known the couple you had thought it was totally weird too.  They aren't into any kind of do it yourself; they are more of a grab a phone book and hire someone to do it for them couple.  I still don't really understand the chainsaw request!

One of my friends registered for an industrial meat slicer, like the kind they have at the deli.

And as a joke, my husband put a Michael Bolton CD on our registry. I didn't realize it until some friends teased me about it later. I removed it before anyone bought it for us!
