A short story of mine:

I was taking shower once in the morning, alone in the house.

As I was taking shower I heard this really loud "BANG" (door slamming)..  I quickly got out and went to check what happened.  I noticed that every door was shut except my bedroom door.  ( there were 4 doors on that level).

I was a kid (age 14) so I freaked out and got ready and ran to school.

Another one is that my bathroom light would flicker on and off.  Once I was about age 13 and my mom's electronic tooth brush turned on by itself.  I tried to search for it through all the drawers but couldn't find it.  Just made the vibrating sound hitting the wood.

Guess what I did........... ran out! lol

I dno't get scared that easily anymore and do investigate these type of stuff as a hobby.

the night my girlfriend of 8 years died I got called by her sister at 11:45 PM and CMT played "She Don't Tell Me To" twice in a row then went to paid programming

I have plenty.

I once lived near an old lady who was the nicest lady. Dad would sometimes go and help her with her lawns and what-not. Mrs. Whitfield was her name. Whenever I was outside, and she was, she would always speak to me. I think she was lonely, because she didn't seem to have many visitors. Except for her sister, who was older and much meaner.

Even when I was my yard, if she saw me from the window, Mrs. Whitfield would wave to me. I'd wave back.

Then I didn't see her around for a few days. I came home late one night after training. I looked across to the windows, and there she was. Waving. I waved back, as usual.

When I went inside, my father looked kind of weird, he had this look on his face. I asked him what was up.

"I was going to do Mrs. W's lawns today. I saw Anne," (Mrs. Whitfield's sister), "coming out of her house. She had been cleaning up inside. Mitch, Mrs. Whitfield passed away. Anne found her dead on the kitchen floor three days ago."

We used to have a house with this one room. The closet in that room had a padlock on it and scratch marks at about human height. Nothing electrical would work in there. Like vacuum cleaners would turn off, night lights wouldn't work, dogs and cats wouldn't go in there, and the most superstitious people I know hated that room. Well about a year ago that house burned down. That room was the last to burn down and the ceiling fan was still hanging from a little chunk of ceiling. It burned for three days straight! The scary part is everyone saw a shadow moving in what was left of the window! And I swear I heard a screeching sound like a human screaming!
