  1. its battery acid...toss it..if you have any kids or animals and decided to put it in their mouth i would say that would suck.. and make sure you dont have any on UR hands..and if there are more AA batteries that were with that battery then toss those as well...

  2. If it's a standard zinc-carbon dry cell, it's a mixture of zinc chloride and ammonium chloride, and it's acidic.  If it's an alkaline cell, it's probably potassium hydroxide (basic).  In either case, it's corrosive and will damage most things it contacts.  There are many more exotic chemistries, but they don't leak as often.

  3. Just how old is that battery?  Time to toss it!

  4. Battery acid

    Get rid of it.

  5. Acid.  Throw it away.

  6. acid

    Time to get new batteries

  7. Battery acid...do NOT allow it on your skin, and if you do, do NOT rinse it off with water. Brush it off with towels or paper towels.

  8. It is lithium (combined with other molecules)  It is very caustic and causes burns to your skin.  Have you notices the battery getting warm.  When enough lithium is exposed to air, it will get very warm and eventually burn.  That is why is says on the battery not to open the battery case.  It will actually burst into flames.  I suggest tossing it immediately and washing your hands very well.
