What is the widest part of I-10?

they are just finishing widening I-10 in Houston, and it will be 26 lanes wide total. is there any other part of I-10 as wide or wider?

Not on the west coast . About 10-12 total at the widest in the LA area . If that widening was through town, they sure must've stepped on somebody's toes . Remember - transition lanes don't count in tallying the number of lanes . Just the lanes for thru traffic.

no, there is not. although it spans the entire length of the country, that would be the widest. in los angeles even it is only four lanes in each direction, causing notorious traffic.
