Try Salomon powder skis.  At Deer Valley (where I ski), these are the widest skis that anyone owns.  They also happen to be quite fantastic.  Just be warned that they are so wide they do not fit on normal gondola racks.  I would reccomend Lange boots and LOOK bindings.  My old gym teacher who used to be a champion pro skier (sponsored by Atomic) reccomends them.
