His name was Elmo Clapsaddle, and I saw his name in the Toledo, Ohio phone book one year when I was a child.  I was fascinated!

Then every year, when we'd get the new phonebook, I'd check to see if he was still there, and he was!

I moved away from Toledo many years ago, but I still check the obituaries in the daily newspaper.  One day a few months ago, I was sad to read the obituary for Elmo Clapsaddle.
