  1. The best pb and j uses bread made at the cafe near me. Toasted, white of course. Then skippys crunchy. A little drizzle of honey on top of that. On the other slice of bread strawberry jam/preserves.

  2. I say that the best pb&j is using fresh white bread, preferably pepperidge farm white bread, then using chunky skippy peanut butter, spread generously on one side of the bread... then using smuckers grape jelly, spread on top( I like more pb than jelly) that is my favorite!!!

  3. It's all a matter of personal taste.   Do you REALLY need me to tell you how to make a PB & J sandwich?

  4. Regular brown break toasted

the bear kind of peanut butter and get it smooth

    welchs grape jam"

and once your toast pops up your PB (smooth) will be nice and warm and dilicoious

also put the jam on one slice of the toast

and the PB on the other

    The cut it in four

    and eat it with Milk

    YUMMMM!!!

    xD

  5. i don't think it really matters............... buy an peanut butter, your fav jelly, and some bread.....................

  6. wheat bread, smooth peanut butter, apple-raspberry jam(mmm), margarine/butter.

take the wheat bread and spread one slice with pb and the other with jam and then spread the other side with butter/margarine and grill like a grilled cheese sandwich =]

  7. my favorite way to eat pb & j isn't on bread at all......it's creamy peanut butter and strawberry jelly on buttery-tasting crackers (such as ritz brand).  it's delicious!!!

  8. I don't think there is a worlds best PB&J recipe.as it is certainly subjective....everyone has their personal fav. However, that said,,, Ed Levine of Yahoo Foods does feel he has determined the method and goes into great detail on the subject.

  9. Two slices of cinnamon toast

    Reese's peanut butter (creamy)

    Polaner strawberry preserves

    You know the rest.

If you want to go into a diabetic coma, put a little powdered sugar on top and cover it all with maple syrup or honey (then eat it like you'd eat waffles or pancakes).

  10. INGREDIENTS

    10 large eggs

    1 pint heavy cream

    1 teaspoon cinnamon

    a pinch of nutmeg

    1/4 cup maple syrup

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 loaf brioche bread- double thick cut into 12 slices

    1 cup peanut butter

    1 cup strawberry jam

    6 tablespoons butter

    6 scoops banana ice cream

    1 cup chocolate syrup

    1 pint strawberries

    6 cherries

    1 pint whipped cream

    Preparation

    Preheat oven to 300°F.

Mix heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple syrup, vanilla, and eggs together and set aside.

Make sandwiches using bread, peanut butter and jam and soak in above mixture for 30 minutes. Turn the sandwiches over after 15 minutes to allow for even absorption of the cream mixture. Take 1 tablespoon of butter and add to hot skillet. When butter is melted add one sandwich. Sauté for 5 minutes on each side. Repeat with rest of sandwiches. Take all sandwiches and place in oven for 5 minutes.

Place a sandwich on a plate and top with one scoop of ice cream, and dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle chocolate sauce around plate and places strawberries and cherry on top.

  11. Forget the bread!!

Get a banana, spoon peanut and jelly on banana then bite!! Conttinue  until banana is is gone Repeat as desired!

  12. It's at Green Vegetarian Cuisine in San Antonio.

They use really crunchy homemade (not sweetened) peanut butter, jalapeno jelly and vegan sausage on toasted slabs of freshly baked whole wheat bread.  It is huge, and amazingly good.
