  1. Very funny!  There's so much wrong here:

    1) the fossil record is incomplete, therefore we dont' even know what was roaming around then

    2) Population of 200,000 BC - how about among the Amerindian population just about 500-600 year ago?  If we can't even estimate that population, how can we find one at 200,000BC.

The World population of what?  This is about the time ancient Homo Sapien appeared, so I have to suspect you are refering to Homo Erectus, Homo Hablis & the Homo lines that had evolved from them.  Some put the figure around 1.5 to 2 million, but pick a number, because your guess is as good as any. The Summatran volcano (Toba) errupted about 75,000 yrs ago & severly impacted the populations of hominids in Europe, Asia & Africa.  It is hypothesized that this caused a bottleneck leading to rapid evolution of some Homo lines that survived.
