It is just so hard for me to believe this person I know - he says its happened to him 6 times...not that he's lying. I've asked this question before - but maybe he wasn't completely dead. However, what he has said is that he has been dead 6 times...the previous person answered that it was unlikely and that his sister had died (I am sorry to hear that, truly). So wouldn't he be in a medical journal somewhere? I am not able to find info on this and wonder if anyone can help.

  1. 6 times is possible.

However you must realize that just because you "flatline" does not make you dead.

He may be saying he "flatlined" 6 times which is almost common for patients with serious blockage of the aorta.

My dad is a Cardiovascular Tech and he said one guy was getting triple bypass and he flatlined over one hundred times during a 5 hour surgery period.

They never told him because he was fine.

They just said "complications" arouse during the surgery but he was ok.
