  1. Tsunami

  2. 1970

Nov. 13, East Pakistan: Some 200,000 killed by cyclone-driven tidal wave from Bay of Bengal. Over 100,000 missing.

  3. The one that drowns you!

  4. A limp wristed wave.

  5. Going out on a limb I am assuming you are talking about surfing, I think Waimea has killed more people than any place else.  Pipeline has had its share and of course Mavericks with the late Mark Foo.

  6. The tidal wave? :P

  7. mexican wave

  8. I'd have to say Teahupo in Tahiti. Check out this pictorial:

The wave doesn't even look real. The thing about Waimea and Mavericks is that they still look like normal waves, just on a much much bigger scale. Teahupo, on the other hand, looks like the whole ocean is just folding over on a shallow reef.
