I mean what are the problems you have with Christianity. All it asks is you follow the golden rule. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

I mean really is this a really bad concept. I mean if everyone followed the rule. A lot of problems would be fixed. I mean correct me if I am wrong.

Everyone is out to help themselves, so no one will do anything to harm themselves. Yes?

So if would not harm yourself, and you followed the golden rule. Pretty simple I think.

  1. those who are not open to God fear being exposed for what they are... and The Truth does that... If The Church was not The Truth it would not be so universally attacked... This world is the dominion of the forces of evil. And will remain so until God ends it... the forces of evil do not want anyone to come to God and to know The Truth... so they attack. through deceptions and inspiring susceptible mortal to do their attacking for them.

  2. So if u agree with Christianity then y won't u devote ur life 2 the one who created u, and sent his son 2 die on the Cross so we wouldn't have 2 carry the burden(guilt) of our sins?

By doing this God gave us a choice 2 abide in him and his commands, allow him 2 guide ur life, and b free from sin! It's like a parent, they can't keep u from everything in this world, that's exactly what God did 4 us because we r his children! Y not devote ur life 2 the one who is powerful enough as 2 create u and have unboundful love 4 u?

  3. I agree some people just didn't have the privilege to have good parents to impart RESPECT in their upbringing.

  4. If most Christians actually followed that themselves, a lot of people wouldn't have a problem with them. Practice what you preach.

  5. The problem is it's like believing in SANTA CLAUS!!!!  Everyone knows that!

Only an idiot believes in SANTA CLAUS, so only an idiot believes in God!  Don't you know anything about life?

  6. People and their choices with free will.

Jesus' offer is the same for all of us. Christians are saved thorough the mercy of God, and that mercy and grace os the same for every single people. It is just how we respond to this offer

  7. So few christians follow this rule, and probably no more than atheists. Christians have a great number of significant problems, and you question seems to claim that this one simple rule should redeem them all. No. It doesn't.

  8. The bloody history of Christianity speaks for itself. It never followed the golden rule, how can it expect anyone else to?

EDIT: If you think the history of Protestantism has clean hands for the past 1000 years you'd better think again.. It was every bit as bloody as the Catholics were. Have you never seen the founder of Protestantism's paper he wrote where he advises his followers to burn Jewish men, women, and children alive in their synagogies?  Have you never heard of the word "Pogrom" - this was done even more at the hands of the Protestants than even the Catholics. Millions and millions of Jews murdered at the hands of Protestants.

Then of course there is the whole Holocaust thing. Most of the Germans who participated and even the townspeople who knew what was happening and stood by and did nothing were Protestants. Luterhans, to be precise.

And lets see. How about the founding communities of the USA who gave Smallpox infected blankets to the Indians and wiped them out? They were mainly Protestants.

Next, Catholicism is most certainly Christianity. It is the very founding Church of Christianity, the very first one, and it is Catholicism who set the rules and created the foundational doctrines of Christianity - 99% of which the Protestants took with them when they split off from the Church.

You seem to have a whole lot of learning to do. Allow me to provide you with something to get you started. Read the murderous torture that the founder of Protestantism, Martin Luther, wrote in his paper "The Jews and Their Lies" which has been responsible for literally MILLIONS of dead Jewish babies and mothers over the last 1000 years or so. Then let's see how clean you say the Protestant's hands are. Have a look.

Then have a look at the bloody history of Protestantism. We already know the bloody history of Catholicism. Please educate yourself about the bloody history of Protestantism as well - at least to save yourself from looking and sounding ignorant by saying the things you said. Knowledge is always a good thing.

"Do unto others" is something that the Christian religion has NEVER followed, whether it be the Catholics or the Protestants. Enough pointing fingers at each other, BOTH have hands dripping with blood.

This mainly because Christianity was never about "saving souls". It was, and always has been , a POLITICAL movement, and as such murdered its way across the world, both Catholics and Protestants. Forced conversions, murders, pogroms, torture, you name it, BOTH sides participated in it.

Are you aware that in Judaism there is no such concept as souls needing to be "saved"? This is an entirely Christian created concept - again, for political purposes of power and control, and of course money. The whole thing is a farce that claims to be based on Judaism, when in fact 9/10ths of what Christianity has for its foundational doctrines and beliefs do not now and have never existed in Judaism.

So you really need to go and learn. Have fun. It's not pretty.
