Dunno, but did hear somewhere that some bright guys copywrited all the seven digit tunes your touch tone phone makes when you dial a number. That would be a short fast tune. They were trying to sue to get people to pay every time they dialed a number.

The Shortest Song In The World

Appearing on Napalm Death's first album Scum, 'You Suffer' is in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's shortest song. Clocking in at exactly 1.316 seconds, it consists of the almost incomprehensible lyrics, "You suffer, but why?".
