What is the worst division in ncaa football ?

As of right now the ACC. The 2 top teams were both defeated the past weekend. Only 5 teams in the whole conference won their opening games.

Ross... the independence is not a division. Is MAC in the div.1 or whatever its called now? The Big East doesn't really have any great teams. And Ross. ND had ONE bad year. They are still the most famous and the best ncaa football team of all time.

The thing about anybody saying who has the worst conference is that people judge it from what conference has the most teams in the Top 25 each season. The conferences are also judged by how many of those teams have losing records. I wouldnt say the WAC conference due to Fresno State, Hawaii and Boise State being a decent teams. I wouldnt say the MAC conference due to TCU and Utah. Of course conferences like the Sun Belt are going to be weak, there arent any prime schools in that conference. Conference USA, Mid American and Independents (Notre Dame hasnt proved anything) in my opinion are the weakest conferences. Funny thing about it is the teams from these conferences always get stuck playing stout teams from prime conferences so they always have losing records.

BTW how can you guys say the ACC? Because they lost their first game? Florida State, Miami, Clemson, Virginia Tech are usually the best teams in the nation. Tennessee lost to UCLA does that mean the SEC sucks? No...youre answers make no sense. **OK my error I meant Mountain West for TCU and Utah, and ......C O, call it a conference or not Notre Dame, Army, Navy and Western Kentucky belong to or are the Independents. oh and C O the Big East does have West VA, Cincy , Lousiville, USF and Rutgers...schools all known for having good football programs.

Well, the ACC pissed down its leg big time last weekend.  A WAC team went to Rutgers and won.  Is Utah still in the WAC?  They beat Michigan on the road.  

I would say the ACC is clearly the most overrated.  A middle of the back SEC team beat the cream of the ACC's crop.
